In 2007, Seyran Tanrıtanır, stage-designer, dancer, vocalist from Istanbul was invited to the international Prague Quadrienalle Festival. This is where she met guitarist Martin Alaçam, who was playing an improvised concert. Within a couple of days the duo had written their first songs, and the collaboration continued despite the geographical distance. SU played in smaller clubs in Istanbul, inviting local top musicians and forming a band. Finally they decided to continue as a duo. In 2009 Seyran came to Czech Republic to play a small tour and record a mini-album or EP if you like. Electrified chanson in Turkish? Anti-folk? Cabaret-rock?
